Two 24-year-old men have been charged under the National Security Act after suspicious vehicles were spotted near the US-run RAF Fairford airbase in Gloucestershire last month. Counter-terrorism police say Mohmed Abdulkarim is accused of assisting a foreign intelligence service, believed to be Iran, while Nouman Essghir faces a charge of entering a prohibited place. Both are expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court later today.
