Two Iran Missiles Shot Down Near Diego Garcia

Iran struck a remote US-UK base 4,000 kilometres away, threatening global shipping and energy prices. On Saturday morning, Iran fired two ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia after Britain permitted the US to use its bases for self-defence. One missile failed mid-flight; a US warship downed the other with an SM-3 interceptor.
