Two Die As Light Aircraft Crashes In Essex

A short pleasure flight ended in tragedy for two people who never made it home from North Weald airfield. A two-seat Cessna, carrying out a "short flight experience," crashed into a field off Mill Lane, Ongar, on Tuesday lunchtime. Both occupants, not yet formally identified, died at the scene, police confirmed.
