Donald Trump stated that the US military is prepared to "completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran" if he is assassinated. He claimed that "1,000 missiles are locked and loaded" and aimed at Iran, with thousands more ready to follow. Trump previously made similar statements in February 2025 and January 2026, saying Iran would be "obliterated" if they succeeded in an assassination attempt.
