Trump: Without Me, Israel Would Be Gone

Fears over Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon were cited as the reason for the action, with concerns that Israel could have faced the first attack. Speaking to the New York Post on 3 June, Donald Trump rejected suggestions that Benjamin Netanyahu persuaded him to join the conflict with Iran. He said he initiated it himself and argued Israel wouldn’t exist now without his involvement.
