Trump threatens UK tariffs over digital services tax

British exporters could face new trade pressure if Washington acts on its warning. Reuters reported that Donald Trump said he would impose tariffs on Britain unless Keir Starmer drops the digital services tax. The 2% levy was introduced in 2020 and targets major American technology companies including Apple, Google and Meta.
