The US president used his Tuesday address to announce a security pact with Denmark that places two large US military bases in Greenland. He defended a recent night-time raid to capture Venezuela's former leader Nicólas Maduro, and promised to block global rules on artificial intelligence. Returning to the Middle East, he claimed earlier military action alongside Israel had stopped Tehran from building a nuclear weapon.
