Trump Threatens Canada with Tariffs Over China Trade Deal

President Trump threatened Canada with 100% tariffs on its goods if it proceeds with a trade deal with China. Trump believes Prime Minister Carney intends to make Canada a 'Drop Off Port' for Chinese goods entering the U.S. The threat follows Canada's recent negotiation to lower tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles in exchange for reduced import taxes on Canadian farm products. Tensions between Trump and Carney have increased recently after Carney's remarks about the US-led world order.
