Trump sees Ukraine peace deal after G7 talks
People affected by the fighting could see fresh efforts toward ending the conflict after separate talks between leaders. On Sunday, Donald Trump said he spoke with Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky and believed both were willing to discuss bringing the war to a close. Speaking in France alongside Emmanuel Macron before G7 meetings, he said the conversations had gone well and a settlement might follow soon.
