Trump says it is 'too late' for Iran to negotiate as strikes continue

US President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social on 3 March 2026 that it was too late for Iran to seek talks. Trump wrote that Iran's air defences, air force, navy and leadership had been destroyed. The statement came as US and Israeli forces continued their assault for a fourth consecutive day.
