Trump Reads Bible Verse in Week-Long National Event

US President Donald Trump pre-recorded a reading of 2 Chronicles 7:11-22 from the Oval Office, which was broadcast Tuesday evening as part of the "America Reads the Bible" event. The passage is widely interpreted as a call for national repentance. The week-long continuous Bible reading, organised by Christians Engaged, runs at Washington's Museum of the Bible from April 19 to 25.
