Trump just got his revenge on another Republican

Voters in Louisiana chose to advance two challengers, ousting a two-term Republican senator who finished third in Saturday's primary. Congresswoman Julia Letlow, endorsed by Donald Trump, defeated Senator Bill Cassidy, who voted to convict the former president in his 2021 impeachment trial. Letlow and another Trump-aligned candidate, John Fleming, will now face a runoff election in late June.
