Trump demands Nato allies spend 5% of GDP on defence

Nato leaders are meeting in Ankara as Donald Trump pressures allies to increase their defence spending. He expects all allies to immediately work towards spending 5% of their gross domestic product on defence. European members and Canada pledged last year to reach this 5% target by 2035.
