Trey Taylor, now 12, awoke from a six-week induced coma to discover he had successfully received a new heart. Medical staff found he suffers from an extremely rare type of muscular dystrophy known to impact only 12 other people worldwide. The boy was transferred to Great Ormond Street Hospital after his mother, Elise, realised his vomiting was not caused by a simple virus.
