Tragic Saudi Arabia Bus Crash Claims 42 Indian Umrah Pilgrims' Lives
At least 42 Indian Umrah pilgrims, mostly from Hyderabad, were feared dead after their bus collided with a diesel tanker near Medina, Saudi Arabia, early Monday morning. The bus carrying the religious pilgrims caught fire after the collision while traveling from Mecca to Medina around 1:30 AM IST. Only one survivor has been reported from the incident. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar confirmed Indian missions were providing full support to affected families. Emergency helplines have been established for families seeking information.
