Titanic life jacket sells for £670,000 at auction

A flotation device that saved a life in the world's most famous shipwreck went under the hammer for nearly triple its estimate. The Titanic life jacket worn by first-class passenger Laura Mabel Francatelli sold for £670,000 at a Saturday auction in Devizes, England. The pre-sale estimate was £250,000 to £350,000. A lifeboat seat cushion from the same sale fetched £390,000.
