Ticketmaster's parent Live Nation just lost a monopoly case. A US jury ruled against it
A federal jury in New York found that Live Nation illegally monopolised the ticketing market for major concerts in the United States after five weeks of trial and nearly four days of deliberation. A coalition of states had accused the company of overcharging fans and pressuring venues to use Ticketmaster. The verdict is a major win for state attorneys general.
