Thunderstorms delay hundreds of flights at Heathrow, Gatwick
More than 800 flights at London's Heathrow and Gatwick airports have been delayed for up to 11 hours, with dozens cancelled, because of thunderstorms. The UK's air traffic control service, NATS, said disruption is expected to continue throughout Saturday due to severe weather across south-east England. Passengers have been left stranded for hours, with some reporting no compensation for delays over four hours.
