Thornton-Cleveleys residents have dangerous 'forever chemicals' in 70% of blood tests
Dangerous levels of PFOA, a type of 'forever chemical', were found in nearly seven in 10 people tested in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire. One resident had the highest level of synthetic chemicals ever recorded in the UK, over 400ng/ml of PFOA in their blood. The local council has issued a warning regarding the consumption of fruit, vegetables, and eggs grown in the area.
