Thames Water makes £113m profit after hiking customer bills 40%

Thames Water, the UK's biggest water company, returned to profit in the year to March after increasing customer bills. Its post-tax income was £113m, a significant swing from a £1.51bn loss the previous year. However, the firm's net debt grew to £18.5bn, and customer complaints jumped 77% in a year.
