Tesla's UK car sales fall 9% as drivers buy cheaper Chinese models

Elon Musk's company handed over just 45,239 vehicles across Britain in 2025, pulling annual revenue down to £1.83bn. Tesla vanished entirely from July's ten best-selling cars, while the Jaecoo E5 from China's Chery International claimed third place among electric choices. The new import starts at £27,505, which heavily undercuts a standard Tesla Model 3 priced at around £38,000.
