A 17-year-old girl is in a critical condition after her e-scooter crashed with a van on Great George Street in Liverpool early on Wednesday. The 57-year-old van driver, who Merseyside Police confirmed did not stop, was subsequently apprehended. Another 17-year-old girl, who was riding the scooter with her, was also arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
