Teen charged in Weston-super-Mare girl's murder.
Nine-year-old Aria Thorpe died from a single stab wound at her home in Weston-super-Mare on Monday evening. Her devastated family described her as a beautiful little soul who loved singing, dancing and dressing up. A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with her murder and has been remanded into youth detention. Police arrested the suspect shortly after the incident in nearby Worle. The schoolgirl attended Becket Primary School, whose community has expressed devastation at the tragic loss.
