The attack on Thursday at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend killed three children aged five, eight and 11, and a 25-year-old teacher, Meghan Lambert. Police chief Mike Krantz said the teacher wrestled the 16-year-old's shotgun before a father with a legally carried pistol fired at him. Police say the teenager was a former pupil and still had about 44 rounds on him.
