TalkTalk is close to selling its wholesale network to Octopus Investments

Opus Broadband is hoping to buy the telecoms group's consumer side, which provides internet to roughly 1.8 million users. TalkTalk is currently dealing with heavy debt and cashflow problems after suffering a steady drop in regular subscribers since 2021. Banking experts believe a successful takeover of the infrastructure division will ultimately cost a few hundred million pounds.
