Sturgeon's husband admits taking £400,000 from party
SNP members faced an "overwhelming betrayal" after their former chief executive's actions. Peter Murrell, Nicola Sturgeon's estranged husband, admitted embezzling £400,310.65 from the party at Edinburgh's High Court and has been remanded in custody. He used party funds between 2010 and 2022 to buy luxury goods, two cars, and a £124,550 motorhome.
