Sturgeon defends 'no comment' in party funds probe
The police investigation into SNP finances was not hindered by Nicola Sturgeon's "no comment" answers. Her solicitor, Aamer Anwar, stated this was standard legal advice offered regularly in their jurisdiction during her arrest. Ms Sturgeon later provided a detailed written response, following Peter Murrell admitting embezzling more than £400,000.
