Study finds college students sleep more as they age.
A new study using wearable devices found that college students' average sleep duration increased by about eight minutes between their freshman and senior years. Researchers at the University of Notre Dame tracked daily sleep records from 76 undergraduates over four years. They also noted that students with higher grade point averages consistently slept more, suggesting a link to academic success.
