Student loans scandal comparable to PPI mess

Graduates are facing what looks like the next PPI scandal as the government keeps changing student loan terms after people signed-up. Sir Philip Augar, who chaired a significant government review of post-18 education, expressed to MPs that the freezing of repayment thresholds is unjust for young people making crucial financial decisions. According to a report by London Economics cited in The Independent, Plan 2 borrowers could face annual payments of £740 more by 2032 than under their initial loan terms.
