Struggling Pizza Hut chain sold for $2.7bn

The iconic pizza chain's sale follows a long period of difficulty and declining sales, especially in the US market. Yum! Brands, owner of KFC and Taco Bell, announced on Tuesday it's selling Pizza Hut in two deals worth $2.7 billion. Private equity firm LongRange Capital is buying most operations, with Yum China Holdings taking the mainland China business.
