Streeting confirms Labour leadership bid, but warns of 'harm' now

Labour members could face a long wait before choosing a new leader. Wes Streeting told Sky News he would take part in any contest to replace Sir Keir Starmer, but said starting one now would harm both the party and the country. He argued a quick vote before Andy Burnham returns to parliament would leave any winner without enough authority and deepen uncertainty.
