Storms Cause Havoc: Cleanup Underway in Multiple Countries
Coastal towns in Devon and Cornwall are cleaning up after Storm Ingrid caused damage, including to a sea wall and railway line. Rail services are limited in Dawlish. A weather warning for rain is in effect for the South West of England. Meanwhile, the Philippines is reeling from Typhoon Kalmaegi, with a new storm, Typhoon Fung-wong, approaching. Cleanup and rescue operations are ongoing in the Philippines, where Kalmaegi caused over 200 fatalities. Intense storms also struck five southern states in the US, leaving at least 54 dead.
