Storm Chandra unearths a massive 6-meter by 2-meter timber section from a 17th-century shipwreck at Studland Bay, Dorset. Discovered on January 28, archaeologists identify the remains as the Fame, a Dutch merchant ship sunk in 1631. The rare find, featuring intact 400-year-old wooden tree nails, represents a missing piece of the protected Swash Channel wreck. Bournemouth University experts now seek grants to excavate the site, one of only 57 designated protected wrecks in England.
