Starmer's under-16 social media ban rushed
The father of Molly Russell accuses Sir Keir Starmer of "political opportunism" for speeding up plans to ban under-16s from social media. He warned Sir Keir against "gambling with children's lives" if his "sticking plaster" plans to ban under-16s from "risky" sites unravel. His charity's research, the Molly Rose Foundation, shows 47% of girls aged 13-17 still see high-risk content weekly.
