Starmer's aides knew about journalist investigation

Questions are now being asked about Keir Starmer’s personal awareness of an "indefensible" investigation into journalists. His senior advisers, including former chief of staff Morgan McSweeney, received updates on the probe into reporters critical of the Labour Together thinktank. Josh Simons, the thinktank's director, commissioned the inquiry regarding £740,000 in undeclared donations.
