Starmer backs calls for FIFA to investigate Argentina Falklands banner

Prime Minister Keir Starmer backs an inquiry into Argentina players who displayed a banner asserting ownership of the Falkland Islands following their World Cup semi-final victory over England on Wednesday. Downing Street echoed Business Secretary Peter Kyle's view that FIFA, football's governing body, should thoroughly investigate the incident. Reports from the match are presently under review by FIFA's independent disciplinary committee.
