Starc Demands ICC Take Control as Snicko Technology Crisis Rocks Ashes Series
Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has called for the ICC to take control of DRS technology after describing Snicko as the worst technology there is during the Adelaide Test. Multiple controversial decisions involving the edge-detection system saw England gain and lose reviews, with BBG Sports admitting operator errors. Starc questioned why the ICC does not fund and use a single technology provider across all series. Cricket Australia's chief executive, Todd Greenberg, described a specific operator error with the Snicko technology as "not good enough."
