Spanish woman Noelia gets euthanasia after legal battle
Noelia Castillo Ramos, a 25-year-old paraplegic from Barcelona, received euthanasia on March 26 after a nearly two-year legal battle. Her father Geronimo, backed by Christian Lawyers, fought through Spanish courts including the Constitutional Court to block the procedure. The European Court of Human Rights declined his request to halt it, clearing the way for the procedure to proceed.
