South Western Railway services face major disruption after train hits barrier
Trains between Southampton and Bournemouth stopped running after a service struck a plastic barrier on the tracks. South Western Railway, the train operator, said the incident happened between Hinton Admiral and New Milton. Services faced widespread delays and cancellations before lines reopened later in the evening.
