Sony Will Drop PlayStation Network Name By 2026

Users will soon see a new brand name for the familiar PlayStation Network online service. Sony Interactive Entertainment decided to phase out "PlayStation Network" and "PSN" to better reflect its evolving digital offerings by September 2026. All technical aspects, including friends lists, multiplayer, and trophies, remain unaffected by this purely visual update.
