Six planets — Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune — are visible above the horizon at the same time during late February 2026, with 28 February the best date globally and 1 March recommended for UK observers. Four of the six — Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter — are bright enough to see without equipment, while Uranus requires binoculars and Neptune a telescope. Viewers are advised to look west between 30 and 60 minutes after sunset, with a clear, flat horizon essential for spotting planets close to the ground.
