Six people in hospital following Elephant and Castle bus crash
Emergency services responded to a collision between two buses on Newington Causeway in south London shortly after 8am. The London Ambulance Service treated several patients at the scene and transported six individuals to hospital, though police confirmed injuries were not life-threatening. One vehicle struck a nearby building, causing minor damage to the Southwark Playhouse. The road remains closed in both directions, with nine bus routes currently on diversion while authorities investigate the incident.
