Sir Michael Moritz applies for German citizenship

Cardiff-born billionaire Sir Michael Moritz is applying for a German passport. He stated that Britain feels difficult for Jewish people, mentioning a synagogue attack in Manchester in 2025. Moritz, 71, considers the German passport an "insurance policy" due to his family's history of Nazi persecution. His paternal grandparents died in the Holocaust.
