Nairobi's Eastleigh area experienced a building collapse on Friday afternoon, as a partially built structure toppled over, affecting 11 operational shops at its ground level. According to interior ministry official Kipchumba Murkomen, 66 of 67 labourers escaped without harm, while one sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Governor Johnson Sakaja said the owners lacked the paperwork needed for anyone to occupy the building.
