Segro turns down £12.6bn Prologis offer
Investors could see more attention on UK property companies after a major warehouse owner refused a takeover approach. Segro said no to an all-share proposal from US rival Prologis that valued it at £12.6bn, saying the offer did not reflect its worth and had been made at the wrong time. Shares climbed 15% to 875p, while the proposal valued each share at 925p.
