Sega's £5 million bet saved Nvidia from ruin in 1995
Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang visited Sega in Tokyo on Wednesday to thank them for a crucial £5 million investment. The investment came in 1995 when Nvidia was nearly out of business after choosing the wrong graphics technology. Sega later sold its stake for £15 million, which would be over a trillion today.
