Police Scotland is planning its biggest operation since Donald Trump's 2025 visit for Bonfire Night, with up to 1,700 officers deployed around 5 November. The force is preparing for fireworks disorder, Celtic's Europa League home match and possible protests in Glasgow on the same night. Extra vehicles and drivers are coming from 18 English and Welsh forces, while firework-free zones start in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
