Saudi Arabia intercepts Iranian missiles; UAE reports one fatality.
Saudi Arabia says it shot down Iranian missiles aimed at Riyadh’s international airport and the Prince Sultan Airbase, which hosts US forces. A source told the interceptions took place on Sunday afternoon, preventing any disruption to flights or casualties. A witness reported seeing defence systems strike a missile overhead. Airports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait City and Manama were also targeted, with authorities confirming one fatality in the Emirati capital.
