Sam Altman Amends OpenAI Pentagon Deal
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated the company's agreement with the Pentagon seemed "opportunistic and sloppy". OpenAI is updating its deal with the Defense Department to clarify its terms. These updates ensure AI will not be used for watching Americans at home. They also state that intelligence organisations cannot rely on OpenAI's tools. This follows a disagreement between the Pentagon and competitor Anthropic.
