People in London are about £3,500 worse off, and the capital has lost 230,000 jobs due to Brexit's economic damage. London Mayor Sadiq Khan stated the UK should rejoin the European Union, arguing this would help tackle the cost-of-living crisis. EU citizens in London fell by 140,000 since 2019.
